Frog Bouncer is a Unity game I programmed and designed by myself for a game engine scripting class.

In the game you play as a super speed frog that can launch itself in the air and bounce off of walls.

Explore the levels, by clinging to walls and launching off in order to find the the secret bush to the next level.

If you would like to play the game, download it for free using the itch.io link on the left.

Frog Bouncer was created from scratch in Unity, using the Sunny Land 2D Pixel Art Pack.

I had become familiar with Unity while working on Aiku, but this was my first big solo Unity project.

The game is essentially a prototype for a gameplay idea I had imagined about and documented early in my college career.

My idea was originally to have a game about Flubber, and I wanted to base the gameplay around how he bounces around the walls in the movies.

You can see my original concept for the gameplay of this game on the left, demonstrating the level and trajectory of the bouncing.

A couple years later I decided to make this idea in Unity as a solo project.

It was really satisfying to have developed an idea for the type of gameplay I wanted, and finally being able to fully express these ideas that I had for years.

I’m most proud of the fun, energetic, and expressive gameplay I was able to create, and how I was able to bring the ideas in my head to life.
